OFFICE STATUS


Our office is open, but we continue to be cautiously optimistic regarding opening our office up to visitors. Currently our office is open to visitors upon request.
Please see below options available to get us your tax information:

  • Drop off in person: If you are dropping off your documents, the office door will be locked. Please ring the doorbell on our new intercom system and someone will buzz you in. We are available to accept your documents or assist you between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM on weekdays. We are also open on weekends during March and April. Please note: Weekend hours do vary so please call our office before your visit.
  • Courier: Our courier service is available to clients who live within the GTA. Please call United Messenger at (416) 736-4040 by 10:30 AM for same-day pickup and delivery. Kindly mention that you are a Mike Holloway client.
  • Canada Post: For clients that live outside of the GTA and would like to mail us their documents, please use Canada Post.
  • Onvio: You can upload your tax documents to our secure online portal, Onvio.ca. If you do not have an account yet, and you are interested in using our portal, please contact us and we will send you an invitation to register for Onvio.ca.
  • Email: When emailing tax documents, please be careful to use a password to secure any documents that include a Social Insurance Number (SIN). If you are password protecting a document, please call us to confirm the password so we can access your files.
  • Fax: You can fax us your documents to (905) 453-7876.

As part of the continued evolution of Mike Holloway C.P.A. Professional Corporation , we are pleased to announce an exciting leadership transition effective October 31, 2025. To help our clients understand what this means and how it benefits them, we have prepared the following Frequently Asked Questions.

Why has the firm transitioned to new ownership?
This transition reflects our focus on strengthening the future of Mike Holloway C.P.A. Professional Corporation and ensuring our firm remains stable and well-supported for many years to come. As the need for our accounting and advisory services continues to grow, transitioning ownership to Syed Ali provides the leadership continuity and resources necessary to maintain the level of service you expect.

This transition also accommodates personal circumstances for Mike Holloway and his family following their relocation, while Mike continues to play an active role within the firm.
Is Mike Holloway retiring?
No. Absolutely not.
Mike will continue to work with the firm for at least the next two to five years, spending several days each week in the Brampton office and supporting clients remotely as well.
Clients will continue to see and work with Mike just as they always have.
Who is Syed Ali?
Syed Ali is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Professional Accountant. He also has an MBA from Queen’s University and holds a Business Finance Professional designation. He has over 15 years of accounting, bookkeeping, and tax advisory experience across various industries for clients across Canada, plus over eleven years in executive roles, such as Vice President and CFO roles within the private industry. Syed brings a strong technical background, a client-first approach, and a vision for expanding and strengthening the services our firm provides.
How will this transition affect me as a client?
There will be no disruption to your services. You can expect:

  • The same team, including continued access to Mike
  • The same office location and phone number
  • The same high-quality, personalized service you are accustomed to
  • A seamless transition, handled entirely by the firm
  • Access to enhanced capabilities as the firm grows under Syed’s leadership
Your experience remains our priority, and all existing engagements continue without any action needed from you.
Will my fees or service level change?
No changes to our billing practices or service levels are planned.

Can I continue working specifically with Mike?

JOIN ONVIO.ca - OUR SECURE ONLINE PLATFORM!


Our office continues to make changes to streamline the tax return process while also reducing our carbon footprint.

We are excited to share that our continuing use of Onvio.ca has been very successful! We have been finding new ways to prepare your tax information as efficiently as possible amidst the changes in the technology that we use. Thank you to all clients who have joined us!


What is Onvio?

It is a secure system for transferring documents to and from our office. This online platform provides access to a portal for all documents and files that we share with each other, organized in one place, rather than sending them via email. All documents will be secure, as your account can only be accessed by logging in with your email address and a password created by you. Onvio is also a way for us to give you access to soft copies of your personal income tax returns after they have been filed. We can also use it to forward you soft copies of financial statements and corporate tax returns if you are a corporate client.


Onvio also serves as an electronic filing cabinet going forward. You can access historical tax documents from prior years through Onvio.ca whenever you want.
